Crushed Red intros 'Chop Top' pizzas

Crushed Red Urban Bake and Chop Shop has added Chop Top pizzas to the menu, featuring the same preparation technique as its chopped salads, using mezzaluna knives.

“The Chop Top Pizzas have better topping distribution for a better flavor profile in every bite,” Founder Chris LaRocca said in a news release. “We’ve been using this premise for our chopped salads and thought the same concept would make our pizzas even better.”

Crushed Red conducted an in-store survey asking guests if they like the "Chop Top" method. Results showed a favorable opinion, LaRocca said.
