Domino's India welcomes butterscotch

Move over Choco Lava Cake, there's a new dessert at Domino's Pizza stores in India: Butterscotch Mousse Cake

"We have been tracking an excellent growth since last financial year. We hope to continue to be on a growth path with the launch of the Butterscotch Mousse Cake," said Ajay Kaul, CEO, Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd., in a story published in Franchise India. "Our main focus will always be pizzas, but since we believe in offering new tastes and variety to our consumers, our innovation-led products like the Butterscotch Mousse Cake will also help us generate sales in metros as well as Tier II & III cities."

Domino's tested the dessert for five weeks at several stores, where it received positive feedback on likeability, recommendation and re-order purchase scores.
