Domino's intros cheese burger pizza in India

MUMBAI, India — Domino's Pizza India, the No. 1 pizza chain in India, has introduced a new pizza — the Cheese Burger Pizza. The new offering comes at the heels of Domino's successful launch of the Double Cheez Crunch Pizza last year. The new pizza has burger patties, cheese slices and onion in between two layers of crispy thin crusts topped with mozzarella cheese and toppings. The pizza sells for about Rs. 200 (U.S. $4.36), and is available in medium with five combinations: vegetarian — Simply Tomato, Spicy Paneer, Classic Veggie and non-vegetarian — Corny Chicken and Spicy Chicken.

Domino's earns award

Domino's Pizza also recently bagged a Silver Award in the Services Category at the Effies 2005 Awards for its 30 Minutes or FREE Campaign. Effies Awards isorganized annually by the Mumbai Advertising Club and is the most prestigious award in the Indian advertising circle.
