The world's biggest-selling pizza brand just opened its 10,000th international store in Shenzen, China, which is also the 200th store in mainland China. A news release said the Domino's outlet is in on Buxin Road in the IBC Mall at 3008 Buxin Road in the Luohu District.
The 1300-square-foot open concept store with a pizza theater is not only a showcase for pizza-making, but also has a flatscreen TV that shows where customers' pizzas are in the creation process.
"The Domino's brand is continuing its global growth momentum by opening new stores every day," Domino's International Executive Vice President Joe Jordan, said in the release. "We're incredibly proud to celebrate the opening of this milestone store, as it is located in a vivacious city bustling with e-commerce and technology enterprises. We look forward to bringing the best carryout and delivery experience to those in Shenzhen."
Domino's operates in more than 85 markets worldwide, with more than half of its global retail sales coming from international stores. The nearly 60-year-old chain has more than 15,900 stores worldwide.
