BRISBANE, Australia — Domino's Pizza Australia announced the launch of the Triple Cheese pizza in its 411 stores in Australia and New Zealand.
According to a news release, the pizza comprises three layers of crust filled with cheddar, cream cheese and mozzarella. Toppings are chosen by the customer.
Don Meij, chief executive of Domino's Pizza Australia, said the idea for the new pizza came from the company's Cheese Burst, which has cream cheese sandwiched between two crusts.
"Our extensive testing showed that while our customers are on the lookout for innovative pizza combinations, cheese remains their No. 1 priority," Meij said. "This latest taste sensation was developed to target Australia's cheese lovers."
