Domino's Pizza announced its entry into two new markets, Azerbaijan and Cambodia.
"We're off to a great start in 2015 with the opening of these two new markets," said Ritch Allison, president of Domino's Pizza International, in a statement. "Our global store growth momentum means that we're opening many beautiful new stores worldwide and attracting new customers to our dynamic brand. Now, customers in Azerbaijan and Cambodia can experience the quality, delicious pizzas enjoyed by Domino's fans around the world."
Domino’s Azerbaijan is owned by private equity firm Fides, which holds master franchise rights to Azerbaijan locations as well as two other locations. Operated by Asian Saranga, the brand’s general manager, the first store opened in Azerbaijan capitol Baku.
The new store features an open concept design that allows customers to watch their pizzas being made and baked in front of them.
Domino’s Cambodia is owned by D. Pizza PLC, a joint venture between CBM Corporation Co. Ltd and Evolution Capital of Thailand. The newest store opened by the group is located in Cambodia capitol Phnom Penh and also provides a pizza theater design for guests to watch their the creation of Domino’s pies.
Domino’s has emerged in six new markets in the past 12 months in both developed and developing economies.
