Domino's Pizza raises $1.3 million for St. Jude Hospital

February 15, 2007

ANN ARBOR, Mich. —Domino's Pizzaannounced it raised more than $1.34 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during its 2006 Thanks and Giving campaign. It was the company's largest-ever donation to the hospital, which helps children suffering from cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

According to a news release, the campaign combines customer donations given at franchised stores with gifts from Domino's Pizza Inc. and its franchisees. Customer giving rose nearly 28 percent in 2006.

"I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone — our customers, team members and franchisees — who contributed during the campaign," said David A. Brandon, chairman and chief executive of Domino's Pizza. "Together we were able to raise public awareness and much needed dollars to support the life-saving work at St. Jude."
