ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Domino's Pizza will be the primary sponsor of Michael Waltrip Racing's No. 99 Busch Series car during the Sam's Town 300 race in Las Vegas on March 12. This marks the second time Domino's has been the primary sponsor of MWR's Busch car (driven by Waltrip).
Domino's also was the primary sponsor for Arie Luyendyke's race car in 1990, when he took the company's colors to victory lane in that year's Indianapolis 500. At the end of that season, however, then-owner and Domino's founder, Tom Monaghan, pulled the sponsorship .
Domino's also is an associate sponsor of the No. 15 NAPA Chevrolet, which Waltrip drives in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.
Waltrip's Busch car will get a special Domino's paint scheme reflected in the uniforms of its pit crew.
