NEW YORK — DVDs Too Inc. has introduced a program that gives pizza operations the ability to rent new-release DVDs to customers.
According to a news release, DVDs Too allows for the delivery of movies to customers' homes along with their orders for food. Customers return the movies after three days in postage-pre-paid envelopes mailed through the post office.
DVDs Too offers pizza operators a complete end-to-end rental solution, including easy-to-use Web-based software, a constant supply of new release DVDs, all required hardware and supplies, and industry-leading support in one complete integrated package. The package works with any existing POS system and with non-automated paper-based order-tracking systems as well.
"By combining DVD rentals with the traditional pizza pick-up and delivery business, participating pizzerias will be able to significantly increase their revenues with existing customers, while at the same time attract many new customers," said Walt Kaon, director of DVDs Too. "The DVD rental solution is profitable on its own, and it also does what everyone in the Pizza Industry is looking for. It is a clear differentiator and ultimately it helps sell more pizza."
