Eagle Boys' ad campaign wins national PR award

BRISBANE, Australia -- Eagle Boys' controversial ‘Measure Up' campaign has been recognized by the Public Relations Institute of Australia in the Consumer Marketing category.Brisbane public relations firm BBS and advertising agency Publicis Mojo partnered on the campaign, which launched throughout Australia in December 2007.
 
The campaign produced a sales uplift of more than 27 percent, the largest sales spike in the company's history.
 
The PRIA gave the campaign a Highly Commended Award in the Consumer Marketing category of the National Golden Target Awards. The campaign previously won the category at the PRIA's Queensland awards.
 
The 'Measure Up' campaign aimed to educate Australian consumers about multinational pizza giants shrinking the size of large pizzas, while still charging the same price.
