Eagle Boys Pizza crowned Australia's supreme retailer

BRISBANE, Queensland — Eagle Boys Pizza has been named Australia's Supreme Retailer and Best Franchise Retailer by that country's National Retail Association.
It was the second consecutive year that Eagle Boys was crowned Australia's Best Franchise Retailer.
The award, part of the National Retail Association's 2008 American Express Rewards for Excellence, recognized Eagle Boys' growth, marketing initiatives, customer service, staff training and franchise practices.
Eagle Boys Pizza is in the midst of a rapid expansion program, with plans to open 100 new stores over the next 12 months. The company also is investing in overseas expansion.
The company operates more than 240 stores throughout Australia, making more than 15 million pizzas a year and generating revenues of more than $125 million. Sales for 2007/2008 grew by nearly 21 percent.
