BALMVILLE, N.Y.—Two members of the family-owned, 45-unit Cosimo's Pizza chain are hospitalized and in critical condition after both were gunned down on May 10.
According to The Associated Press, police believe Cosimo DiBrizzi, 64, and his 26-year-old son, Nicolas, were shot at 9:30 a.m. by an intruder at the Balmville home of the elder DiBrizzi. Both were flown to Westchester Medical Center.
The DiBrizzi family owns several pizzerias and restaurants, as well as the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.
