Figaro's Pizza to help tsunami victims

SALEM, Ore. — In a collective effort to aid victims of the recent Indian Ocean tsunami, participating Figaro's Pizza stores will be donating 25 percent of their proceeds from sales on Jan. 12 to Mercy Corps.

According to a news release, Figaro's corporate donated $1,000 to the cause.

"By coordinating our efforts and getting our franchisees' local communities involved, we're hoping our donation will have a major impact on the relief efforts," said Jerry Doty, Figaro's marketing director.
