FireFly Tech.'s scholarship deadline approaching

HILLSBORO, Ore.—FireFly Technologies, developers of the Phoenix point-of-sale system for pizza and delivery restaurants, is offering a $1,000 scholarship to one pizza restaurant employee who will be attending an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university or technical school during the 2007-2008 school year.
The deadline for all application materials to be postmarked is April 30. Announcement of the winning recipients will be made before May 31.
The scholarship is open to any United States resident who is currently employed by a pizza restaurant, with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are studying or plan to study technology; however, this is not a pre-requisite for application.
