PORTLAND, Ore. — Flying Pie Pizza and $averCD have joined forces to deliver interactive media promotions and printable coupons to customers via direct-mailed CD-ROMs.
"The Pizza business is very competitive and we are always looking for new cost-effective ways to attract new clients to our locations," said Ty Dupuis, president of four-unit Flying Pie Pizza, in a press release. "The initial results with $averCD have been rock solid and we are seeing existing clients buy more product. And thanks to $averCD, many new clients are now trying our gourmet pizza pies."
Based on an interactive multimedia advertising platform, $averCD provides advertisers many marketing benefits found in traditional mixed-media advertising, such as video and sound. Promotions on the CD last for 90 days at a time. $averCD does not require an Internet connection, though many of its features are enhanced with Internet access.
