Former NFL tight end opens OK City Pie Five unit

Billy Bajema, a former Oklahoma State and NFL tight end, is getting ready to open Pie Five's fifth Oklahoma location and its fourth in the Oklahoma City area, according to a press release. The unit is located in Edmond and will open on July 21.

"The Edmond community has been clamoring for a Pie Five to call its own ever since we opened our first Oklahoma restaurant in Stillwater a few years ago," Bajema said in the release. "Pie Five's clean, comfortable and friendly environment combined with speedy service and quality ingredients is perfect for this area. We love the Edmond community and look forward to getting involved with schools, churches, sports teams and other local organizations in the months and years ahead."

Pie Five held a pre-opening VIP event July 18 and raised money for Boys Ranch Town, a Christian-based residential care organization, and Shiloh Camp, an inner-city camp helping give kids confidence and education, according to the release.
