Franco’s Best Pizza in Lawrenceville, Georgia, has expanded its location to offer dine-in service. The restaurant, located in the shopping center at the intersection of Highway 20 and Webb Gin House Rd., has been in business for over five years, according to a company press release.
"Our food has always been quality, the kind our customers wish they could sit down and enjoy with their families," said Mark Petersen, who owns the restaurant with his wife, Deb. "We’re thrilled to be able to finally give our customers an amazing dine-in experience that the whole family can enjoy."
Known for their generous work in Gwinnett County’s public schools, the Petersens regularly donate pizza to area schools to encourage kids to do well and make good grades. Honor roll students at K-12 schools within a five-mile radius of the restaurant have received certificates for free pizza slices, and the restaurant has participated in school events where they’ve passed out pizza to the community as a way of giving back, the release stated.
"We love the kids and families that come into our restaurant," said Deb Petersen. "They're the life-blood of our business, and we want to always give back whenever we can."
The new dine-in area was made possible when an adjacent business moved out of the space next to Franco’s. After working closely with the building’s owners to plan the expansion, the Petersens did most of the work themselves to transform the space.
