The Times of Oman: Two restaurants in the southwestern French town of Auch assembled what they said was the world's longest chain of 400 pizzas, measuring 160 meters (528 feet) in length.
On May 1, two pizza makers each worked 12 hours to prepare the tomato, ham, goat's cheese and pepper pizzas. The mammoth pizza chain ringed a small square in Auch's old town, and local attorney Michel Blaise was to verify the feat before sending it to the Guinness Book of World Records for official recognition.
