Fueled by $3.75M investment, Pupatella expands around DC

April 22, 2019

Neapolitan pizza brand, Pupatella, will open two restaurants in South Arlington and Reston in the Washington, D.C. area. A $3.75 million investment secured last fall is fueling the growth of the three-unit, D.C.-based brand, which will open locations in Fairfax and Montgomery County, Virginia, as well as Washington, D.C., a news release said.

The South Arlington unit opens this summer on South Walter Reed Drive with 2,200 square feet of space and seating for 60, with a covered patio that can seat another 40 customers. In Reston, the brand will open early next year from Wiehle Avenue with 2,700 square feet and a large patio.

"As a native Restonian, I know all the wonderful things Reston has to offer, but one thing that has been missing is authentic Neapolitan pizza," Pupatella founding partner and Head of Real Estate and Supply Chain Michael Berger  said in the release.
