Gang places fake pizza order, jumps, beats driver

Shepparton News: Six men are wanted by police after the Jan. 6 ambush, robbery and assault on a pizza delivery driver in the Australian town of Shepparton.

Shepparton police Criminal Investigation Unit Senior Constable Ben Melis said the men attacked the 34-year-old Shepparton driver after placing a false order for delivered pizzas.

At about 11:45 p.m., the driver arrived at the address to find a man posing as the house occupant and pretending to be waiting for the pizzas. As the driver exited the car, he was hit from behind, before being showered with kicks and punches from several people.
