LOUISVILLE, Ky. — "American Eats," a multisegment, food-focused TV show airing this summer on the History Channel, will examine the U.S. pizza industry on Thursday, June 29, at 10 p.m. EDT.
According to the History Channel's Web site, the show will feature pizza's journey from restaurants in Italian-American communities to expansion through global chains and back to the burgeoning renaissance of artisan pies. The show also will take a look at the fierce personal passions and preferences generated by pizza.
