Humble Pie chain sold to Cornwall Development Partners

December 14, 2018

The Humble Pie pizza chain has been sold to Cornwell Development Partners of Scottsdale, Arizona, according to a news release.

Humble Pie has restaurants throughout the metropolitan Phoenix area, as well as Tucson, and two outlets within Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport terminal four.

The chain has served over a million pizzas in its 10 years in business, according to the company's financial advisor for the sale, Reconstruction Partners.

"The decision to sell a business that we created and grew over time was not an easy one, but once the decision to sell was made, (Reconstruction Partners team members) Lee Cohn and Wallace Hite were able to bring us a motivated, qualified buyer and kept both parties on track throughout the process," said Humble Pie Co-Founder Rich Sullivan in the release.

The price of the deal was not disclosed.
