Hungry Howie's is bringing back its Coney Pizza for one day only on National Coney Dog Day, July 30, according to a press release.

Available for $9.99 at seven participating metro Detroit locations while supplies last, the limited-time pizza is returning for the first time in more than 20 years.

The comeback serves as the debut of the Hungry Howie's Flavor Experience, a new platform dedicated to limited-time specials and fan-favorite comebacks. Launching first in metro Detroit, the initiative will eventually pop up at locations nationwide to bring unexpected menu moments to communities across the country.

"The Coney Pizza was one of those menu items fans never stopped asking about, and we knew it deserved a proper comeback," said Jennifer Jackson, vice president of public relations for Hungry Howie's. "Hungry Howie's Flavor Experience is all about giving our guests more of what they love, whether that means bringing back a pizza no one thought they'd see again or introducing something completely new. National Coney Dog Day felt like the perfect moment to kick things off right here in Detroit, where it all started."

On July 30, the pizza will be available at the following Michigan locations:

  • 20824 Hall Road, Clinton Township.
  • 1533 E. Lafayette St., Detroit.
  • 5231 Anthony Wayne Drive, Detroit.
  • 27634 Middlebelt, Farmington Hills.
  • 22040 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield.
  • 43747 Van Dyke, Sterling Heights.
  • 25249 Plymouth Road, Redford Township.

Hungry Howie's has nearly 500 stores in 19 states.
