Hungry Howie's Pizza ad wins Telly Award

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich.—Hungry Howie's Pizza, Inc., recently won a Telly Award for its "Old Trick With A New Twist" commercial.

According to a news release, the Telly honors outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs. The annual competition receives more than 10,000 entries from advertising firms in all 50 states and many foreign countries.

The 485-unit pizza chain's ad was created by David Glass of Michael Flora & Associates, in Troy, Mich. It took top honors in the Food chain/Restaurant Category for retail television.
