Imo's Pizza rolls out new ad spots

ST. LOUIS — Imo's Pizza is launching a new ad campaign created to distinguish itself from national pizza chains. The spots were written and produced by Musen & Steinbach LLC.
 
To show the contrast between an Imo's pizza, which is covered with toppings from edge to edge, and the pizzas offered by national pizza chains, which are bordered by a ring of crust, each commercial poses the question, "What do you do with your leftover crust?" and then offers humorous uses for the leftovers.
 
Imo's is the No. 1 St. Louis-area pizza chain in terms of market penetration, according to the Aug. 2007 Scarborough Report. Imo's has 80 franchised stores in the metro St. Louis area and 12 additional stores elsewhere in Missouri.
 
The chain was founded in 1964 by Ed Imo.
