Is a sale looming for Chuck E. Cheese's?

Will the rock-and-roll Chuck E. mouse soon be owned by a private equity firm? According to Reuters, potentially.

The publication reported earlier this week that the Irving, Texas-based entertainment pizza chain is exploring a sale and has been working with Goldman Sachs to explore its options. Parent company CEC Entertainment reportedly has a market capitalization value of about $760 million.

There are more than 560 Chuck E. Cheese's locations throughout the country.
