Jerseys Pizza & Grill preps for Crosstown Series
June 15, 2008
CHICAGO — Jerseys Pizza & Grill, located in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, will make it easy for fans to take sides in the upcoming Cubs-White Sox series this month. The restaurant will be split in two, with Cubs fans on one side, White Sox fans on the other. "We'll have a line down the middle of the restaurant that will clearly mark the side for Cubs fans and the side for White Sox fans. People who choose to cross that line do so at their own risk," said Jerseys owner Gregg Majewski. "Actually, it will be a really fun atmosphere for everyone." The restaurant split begins June 20, and will continue for every Cubs-White Sox game this season. In addition to cheering, there will be 7th inning raffles for prizes and the winning team's fans will receive 10 percent off their bill that day in addition to a free large pizza for a future visit.
