AUCKLAND, N.Z. — DVD subscription and delivery service Fatso.co.nz, and the Hell Pizza chain announced a strategic marketing alliance that will combine the strengths of both companies to deliver a complete entertainment package to New Zealanders.
"After conducting further research into our target audience, we found there were considerable synergies between our brands," said Rob Berman, managing director of Westside Media Ltd., which owns Fatso. "Our all you can eat rental and door-to-door delivery process combined with Hell Pizza's superb choice, unique brand and delivery process made the alliance a natural choice."
Twenty-eight-unit Hell Pizza serves 21 different pizzas, salads, pastas, deserts and side items.
"Hell goes to great lengths to keep all its produce fresh, unprocessed and healthy," said Callum Davies, founder of Hell. "All our pizza bases are made fresh daily, they are whole-meal and only contain a fraction of oil unlike many competitors."
No details were given about when the two firms will launch their combined services.
