Live Basil Pizza pushes loyalty program for Thanksgiving Eve promotion

Colorado's Live Basil Pizza has declared Nov. 27 as "National Fresh Pizza Day," and is encouraging consumers to order a pizza and avoid cooking the day before Thanksgiving.

According to market research firm Technomic, the day before Thanksgiving is one of the top five days for pizza sales.

Any Live Basil Pizza customer who purchases a pizza on Nov. 27 and participates in the brand's loyalty program will receive a coupon for a free pizza on Nov. 30.

The promotion will be held at the Federal Heights, Colo., and Denver locations.
