Marco's has added an employee perk that substantially boosts its attractiveness to potential employees, according to a news release.
The pizza chain is launching an employee tuition assistance plan offering up to $5,250 toward a degree from Bellevue University.
All full- and part-time Marco's employees qualify for the plan after 30 days on the job; family members are eligible for up to $2,625.
"Our most valuable asset is our team members," Marco's President Bryon Stephens said in the release. "Marco's continues with aggressive growth plans, and to succeed we know that we need smart, engaged team members taking care of our guests in every Marco's community."
Employees must maintain full-time student status throughout their degree program to qualify for reimbursement of up to $21,000 over the four years required to complete most bachelor's degrees.
"Marco's Pizza understands the value of education, and their success over the years is a direct result of their commitment to their people," Bellevue President Mary Hawkins, said in the release.
The Bellevue, Nebraska-based institution offers more than 50 bachelor's and 30 master's degrees online, the release said.
