Marco's Pizza taps Sosnowski, former Papa John's exec.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Marco's Pizza has appointed Syl Sosnowski its vice president of marketing.

Sosnowski is a former senior vice president of marketing at Papa John's. He was dismissed by the Louisville, Ky., firm in 2002. (Read also Sosnowksi dimissed from Papa John's.)

"Syl Sosowski is a natural fit to join our growth team here at Marco's," said Jack Butorac, Jr., president of Marco's Franchising. "He has the experience and knowledge it takes to grow an organization such as ours and support our franchisees with cutting-edge marketing plans."

Sosowski, a Louisville resident, served with Papa John's for six years.
