Marco's seeks franchisees for 30 small-market stores

Marco's Pizza has initiated a growth plan to strategically expand in a number of designated market areas to open 30 more locations in the next two years, a news release said.  
 
As a result, the brand is offering multi-unit franchisee development opportunities in these small markets:

  • Lubbock/Longview/Tyler, Texas
  • Savannah, Georgia
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Shreveport, Louisiana
  • Boise, Idaho
  • Reno, Nevada
  • Albuquerque, New Mexico

The brand is seeking experienced local operators in each market requiring for no more than two to four restaurants each. Specific assets offered in each location include: 

  • Texas: No. 1 in 2018 America's Top States for Business, Marco's has 85 existing with goals of seven in Lubbock and three in Longview/Tyler.
  • Georgia: Marco's has more than 100 active locations, including 90 in and around Atlanta with goals of three Savannah restaurants.
  • Oklahoma: The brand wants to bring six locations to the state's second-largest city of Tulsa, in addition to its current 25 restaurants statewide. 
  • Louisiana: With three current locations, including that just opened in Bossier City, the brand hopes to add four more locations in Shreveport.
  • Idaho: With its first state store opened in Meridian this year, the brand wants to add five locations in Boise. 
  • Nevada: With nearly 10 current locations, Marco's hopes to open two more in Reno. 
  • New Mexico: The brand plans to open its first three locations here around Albuquerque.

"Our development team is poised for success and our initial locations in these areas will no doubt bring success to enthusiastic entrepreneurs. Marco's Pizza ... has created a loyal customer following directly contributing to our $725K average unit volume."

The brand has more than 900 stores and is aiming to reach 1,500 locations in the next two years.
