Mazzio’s Italian Eatery approved for franchise registry

Mazzio’s Italian Eatery, a Tulsa, Okla.-based pizza chain, is the most recent addition to the Franchise Registry, a listing of approved Small Business Administration (SBA) companies.

The Franchise Registry helps small business owners through cooperation between government and industry. The registry lists names of franchise companies whose franchiseesenjoy the benefits of a streamlined review process for SBA loan applications. Mazzio’s was added to the Franchise Registry on Oct. 20.

“Our goal is to streamline the franchise process for our new and existing partners,” said Eric Selby, director of franchise development for Mazzio’s. “Registration with the SBA is yet another step in that direction. The more advantages we can provide for our system, the higher our probability for long-term success.”

Mazzio’s has 166 locations in 10 states and was established in 1961.
