MenuTrinfo partners with Food Services of America for allergy training

Oct. 10, 2013

MenuTrinfo has announced a new partnership with Food Services of America, a broadline foodservice distributor.

MenuTrinfo will supply nutritional analysis and allergy training for customers participating in FSA's At Your Service program, which provides restaurant operators with services that assist with their operations, marketing and human resources.

"Our customers will save time, energy and money with MenuTrinfo's menu nutritional services and allergy training," Christine Kopatz, customer loyalty supervisor for Food Services of America, said in a news release. "By using a full-service nutrition company our customers can leave the analysis to MenuTrinfo and focus on other aspects of their business."

In 2010, the FDA issued two proposed regulations that would require calorie labeling on menus and menu boards in chain restaurants, retail food establishments, and vending machines with 20 or more locations. The FDA is expected roll out the menu labeling criteria and timeline for compliance yet this year.

"Our goal is to take the fear and pain out of providing accurate, affordable and simple nutritional information by being the leading industry solution partner," said Betsy Craig, founder and CEO, MenuTrinfo.
