Michigan pizzeria rewards employees with entire day's worth of sales

The 50-plus employees at Klavon's Pizzeria and Pub in Jackson, Mich., earned their holiday bonuses through a record-setting day of sales on Dec. 10. According to MLive, Klavon's owner, Justin Klavon, committed to dedicating 100-percent of sales to the restaurant's employees, which turned out to be more than $300 apiece.

Klavon said it would be a nice way to recognize the employees and "our customers obviously agreed. I was blown away by the response."

Klavon's serves Chicago-style pizza and has been voted as the best pizza spot in Jackson by MLive readers.
