Mici opening 6th unit, plans to start franchising brand

June 4, 2019

Mici Handcrafted Italian, based in Denver, will open its sixth location Monday in Parker, Colorado, at 11290 Twenty Mile Road, a news release said.

Mici partner and CEO Elliot Schiffer said the brand is now beginning the process of franchising, with real estate scouting underway for the next two locations of the family-style dining brand.

"Mici is family-oriented and loves being part of tight knit communities, like Parker," Schiffer said in the release. "Our combination of generations-old family recipes made with high-quality, clean ingredients, and a modern-day convenient style of service are what make Mici so special. The last two years of growth for the brand have been exciting and successful, and we're looking forward to what is to come!"

The space the brand occupies in Parker is a former Orange Leaf Yogurt location renovated with wood floors and tables, white chairs and tiled walls with large-scale black-and-white vintage photographs of the Miceli family. The location is the largest for the brand to date with 2,500 square feet and seating for 100 people inside and out.
