Mod Pizza Florida franchisee opens store No. 5

Mod Pizza's exclusive Florida franchisee, BBX Capital, opened its fifth store across from the University of Florida on Northwest 13th Street in Gainesville, a news release said.

BBX Capital has signed an agreement to develop up to 60 locations throughout the Sunshine State and operates stores in Coral Springs, Parkland, Jacksonville, Kendall and Gainesville. By year's end, it expects to also open Florida locations in  Lutz, Lake Buena Vista, and Pembroke Pines.

The chain has approximately 370 locations in 28 states and the UK.
