The Northern California coastal town of Eureka is opening its first Mountain Mike's Pizza, despite the limited business conditions that force the store to only offer menu items via contactless delivery, curbside pickup and carryout, a news release said.
The Broadway Street store is located in the Victoria Place Shopping Center and offers its full menu of pizzas, bone-in wings, garlic sticks, local beers and wines through the three aforementioned low- or no-contact delivery channels.
"Despite our unusual circumstances, we are proud to begin serving Mountain Mike's signature pizzas to the Eureka community in the safest way possible," Sonu Chandi, Mountain Mike's franchise owner and president of Chandi Hospitality, said in the release. "We're not new to delivery and carry-out, this is what we've been doing for over 40 years, but we have added additional levels of safety and convenience like tamper-proof packaging, contactless delivery and curbside pickup to give our new guests the peace of mind they deserve."
The store will be one of the first locations to feature the brand's most updated restaurant design and features a dedicated arcade room and big-screen TVs throughout.
"We are looking forward to the day we can welcome the community into our restaurant to fully experience what Mountain Mike's is all about, but in the meantime we are happy that Eureka residents can still enjoy our legendary pizza in the comfort of their own homes," Chandi said.
For over 45 years, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, a leading family-style pizza chain known for its legendary crispy, curly pepperonis and Mountain-sized pizzas, has been quietly building one of the largest regional pizza franchises in the West.
