Mountain Mike’s names Sheena Dougher chief marketing officer

Mountain Mike's Pizza has announced in a news release that it has named restaurant marketing veteran Sheena Dougher its chief marketing officer, tapping the former Jack in the Box executive to lead brand strategy.

Dougher brings more than 15 years of restaurant marketing experience spanning brand strategy, advertising, media, public relations, social media and regional marketing. She most recently served as vice president of brand marketing at Jack in the Box, where she oversaw brand strategy across PR and social media, content, paid media and regional marketing.

In her new role, Dougher will oversee Mountain Mike's integrated marketing strategy, with a focus on increasing brand awareness in new and existing markets, strengthening community connections and driving sales. She also will support franchisee growth and restaurant-level performance while developing opportunities in channels including B2B and catering.

"Sheena's track record is highlighted by her ability to translate brand strategy into tangible business results," Mountain Mike's CEO Jim Metevier said in the release, adding that her experience connecting national marketing with local restaurant performance will help the chain strengthen its brand position, drive traffic and reach new guests and markets.

Dougher said she sees an opportunity to sharpen what differentiates Mountain Mike's and bring its story to a broader audience.

"There's a significant opportunity to deepen the foundation and amplify the Mountain Mike's narrative by sharpening what makes the brand unique," she said in the release.

Dougher succeeds Carol DeNembo, who previously served as Mountain Mike's CMO.
