MSI launches intelligent LED replacement bulb

MSi, a manufacturer of energy efficient LED retail accent, spot and flood lighting, has leveraged its LED expertise in collaboration with optic developers and manufacturers to launch theiPAR-38, an intelligent LED replacement bulb andTrio TracLED track light fixture. The new product offerings are capable of energy savings up to 80 percent.
 
The new MSi lights offer proprietary innovations such as Powerbandä Technology, which allows for the adjustment of light output with the twist of a band. Proprietary Intelligent Communication allows individual bulbs to communicate such information on items such as manufacturer, installation, hours of use and wattage settings. And, onboard power management that allows worldwide installation no matter the voltage.
 
The new iPar38 exceeds the light output and zonal lumen of the halogen 75 watt in head-to-head testing, has a CBCP up to 18,000, yet consumes energy like a nitelite. It is dimmable, gives off virtually no heat and lasts for more than a decade burning at 12 hours a day. It also can light the environment anywhere from 10 feet to 40 feet.
 
MSi also has announced its relationship with Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE), a nationally funded bond program. PACE bonds are small municipal bonds where the proceeds are loaned to commercial and residential property owners to finance energy retrofits. Property owners then repay their loans over 20 years via an annual assessment on their property tax bill.
