Neighbors help beaten, robbed Papa John's delivery driver

June 7, 2009

The Chicago Tribune: Stephen Walker was delivering Papa John's pizza in an Evanston, Ill., neighborhood when he was attacked, beaten and robbed after a delivery. The men stole Walker's wallet and his car.
The two suspects, who have been arrested, were found after they crashed Walker's car into a tree. Residents living in the Evanston neighborhood where the attack took place collected nearly $1,400 to help Walker get back on his feet. They plan to present him with the check Tuesday in the location where the attack occurred.
