Beginning in 2016, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association's newly announced partnership with the National Restaurant Association for the New England Food Show will begin. The NEFS is the largest tradeshow of its kind in the Northeast, according to a news release. The partnership's objective is to attract an even larger audience.
The 2015 show will be March 15-17 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, and it will conclude the MRA's 12-year partnership with Diversified Communications.
After reviewing possible options, MRA's leaders determined that a partnership with the NRA would maximize the show's potential for growth, visibility and value, the release said.
The NRA's involvement in the MRA's regional event is a first for the organization.
"Looking ahead to 2016 and beyond, the MRA is committed to the continued success of the NEFS, and we are delighted to be able to bring the National Restaurant Association's resources and expertise to an already important event, making it more valuable for our industry's owners and operators than ever," said MRA President and CEO Bob Luz.
