New Uno Pizzeria menu offers 65+ items for 6 different diets

October 24, 2019

Uno Pizzeria & Grill has launched its "Love All, Feed All" menu, designed for guests with specific dietary preferences or requirements. The brand's locations across the country now a supplemental menu — with options for calorie-counting, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-sensitive, dairy-free and carb-conscious eaters — in addition to its regular menu, a news release said.

The new menu provides dozens of items, like:

  • 600-calories-or-less items, including more than 20 items, like thin-crust pizzas with toppings like fresh spinach, goat cheese and caramelized onions or wild mushroom and aged cheddar.
  • Five vegan items, including hand-stretched thin-crust pizza with Daiya cheese, and over 16,000 possible combinations of vegan pizza toppings.
  • More than 15 vegetarian items, including the eggplant parm pizzanini with roasted eggplant, caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella, marinara and basil.
  • More than 15 gluten-sensitive dishes including burgers with Udi's gluten-free rolls and three varities of gluten-free thin crust pizzas.
  • Ten carb-conscious dishes with 10 grams of carbs or less each, including grilled marinated shrimp, 10-ounce top sirloin and baked chicken spinoccoli.

"This is a drastic modernization and expansion of our menu and its first major overhaul in decades," said Jim Ilaria, CEO of Uno Pizzeria & Grill, in the release. "While we are famous for inventing the deep dish pizza — and have served it to generations of fans since 1943, we are thrilled to now offer a wider variety of options so everyone can walk through our doors confident they will enjoy a tasty meal regardless of their dietary interests."

Uno now has 100 stores in 19 states, the District of Columbia, Honduras, Qatar, India, and Saudi Arabia.
