LONE TREE, Colo. — To commemorate the opening of its 50th unit, Nick-N-Willy's World Famous Take-N-Bake Pizza is donating 50 cents from every take-and-bake pizza sold chain-wide on Dec. 22, to the Volunteers of America.
According to a news release, also on that day, Nick-N-Willy's is offering a buy-one-pizza, get-the-second-for-50-cents deal available to customers who download a special coupon from nicknwillys.com. Fifty cents from the sale of those pizzas also will go to the VOA.
"Volunteers of America is a reputable organization servicing those that deserve all the wonderful freedoms this country has to offer," said Scott Adams, CEO of Nick-N-Willy's. "Nick-N-Willy's felt it was important to celebrate our 50th store opening by giving back to the community."
VOA is a nationwide, nonprofit organization providing human service programs and opportunities to promote individual and community involvement. VOA helps youths at risk, frail elderly, abused and neglected children, people with disabilities, homeless individuals and many others.
