Not just Chicago anymore: Pizzeria Uno deep dish pies go nationwide

Pizzeria Uno's deep-dish pizza, made from a 1943 recipe, used to be only available in Chicago, but now the chain will ship their famous pies nationwide via online ordering at pizzeriaunochicago.com.  

The pies are available as two-, four-, or six-pizza packs for home or office delivery anywhere in the U.S., according to a news release. 

"Our fans throughout the nation have long begged us to make this wonderful product available to them via mail order and I am thrilled that we are able to satisfy their craving for The Original '43," Pizzeria Uno President and CEO Louie Psallidas stated in the release. 

Each 10-inch, deep-dish pie is packed in dry ice in insulated containers, along with cooking instructions for delivery usually within two days.
