NYPD Pizza settles trademark case

The Guardian: Under terms of a recent settlement, Orlando, Fla.-based N.Y.P.D. Pizza can keep its name as long as it makes clear it is not affiliated with the New York Police Department. The chain also must redesign its logo and has agreed not to open any of its restaurants in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.
