Obama's favorite pizzeria opens in D.C.

St. Louis-based Pi Pizzeria is coming to Washington D.C., something that likely pleases President Obama. The Commander-in-Chief declared Pi as his favorite pizza after winning the presidential election and later hostedthe owners at the White House.

District of Pi Pizzeria opens Aug. 24 at 9th and F streets in Penn Quarter but have been operating a Pi truck at the Capitol for the past several months. The truck serves only half of Pi's menu items, however; the store will serve the menu in its entirety.
