CINCINNATI -- Local favorite LaRosa's will begin testing its online ordering service on Dec. 23.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the 50-store Cincinnati-based chain will test the service through its Web site, www.larosas.com. The company hopes to iron out any wrinkles in the system before making a public announcement about it in January.
"(I)t's pretty functional," said Pete Buscani, LaRosa's executive vice president of marketing. "But we're still fine-tuning it in the first month."
The system will cover all LaRosa's locations, and offer more than 40 menu items.
Visitor registration is required, and user particulars are recorded to speed future orders.
LaRosa's has been recognized for its technical innovations, such as a highly successful one-number ordering system employed at the company for more than a decade.
