Pagliacci celebrates Walla Walla onion season

SEATTLE — Pagliacci Pizza has added two limited-time pizzas to its menu. The pizzas will be available until July 15.
Pizza al Tonno includes Fishing Vessel St. Jude custom-canned tuna, mozzarella, capers, red onions, kalamata olives and an olive oil base. Fishing Vessel St. Jude is based in Seattle but troll fishes for albacore tuna in the North and South Pacific. Because the tuna is troll-caught, it doesn't contain the level of mercury found in some mainstream brands.
Crostata includes caramelized Walla Walla sweet onions, gorgonzola, mozzarella, fontina and an olive oil base.
Pizzas are available in an 11-inch size for $14.49, a 13-inch size for $18.49 or a 17-inch size for $20.99. During the peak of the Walla Walla onion season, Pagliacci is offering sweet onions for free on any pizza.
