Papa Gino's pizza chain kicks off Tailgate Meal for football season

DEDHAM, Mass. -- Papa Gino's is kicking off the football season with its new "Tailgate Meal."

According to a news release, the Tailgate Meal consists of a large cheese pizza, a medium order of chicken tenders, plus a free "kicker," which is a choice of a free small cheese pizza, a free order of cinnamon sticks or a free entree salad.

Price of the Tailgate Meal is $12.99. The promotion ends Nov. 23.

Eight-year New England Patriots veteran and Super Bowl XXXVI-winning Kicker Adam Vinatieri will promote the deal through TV ads and marketing materials posted in the chain's 160 New England stores.

"Papa Gino's customers can enter to win a variety of prizes including New England Patriots tickets, autographed Adam Vinatieri footballs, movie passes to Showcase Cinemas, food offers from Papa Gino's, or the grand prize -- a 2004 Ford Explorer," said Bill Chiccarelli, director of marketing for Papa Gino's.
